Br. Jim Troutman

Br. Jim Troutman has a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Ft. Worth, TX (1993). In addition, he has a BS in education (1977) and Master of Arts in counseling (1986).

Br. Jim has served in many associational positions throughout the United States, Europe, and the Pacific, as well as on the Executive Board of the Baptist Convention of New England. He has been in some form of ministry since 1987.

He and his wife, Patsy, recently returned from two years as the bi-vocational pastor for the First Baptist Church, Rota, Spain.

Br. Jim retired in 1990 after 28 years of being a military meteorologist. He has served as a peace officer in Texas and as a municipal judge. He is a nationally certified EMT and was working as a volunteer in the emergency room of a military hospital and for a rural ambulance service for the past eight years.

Br. Jim has established office hours on Monday, Wednesday, and some Fridays, but he is available whenever needed.
